Product Updates: March 2023

New features

We've released not one, but two additional webhooks for our customers to take advantage of. These webhooks can be used to enable your systems to take action based on learner interactions with training, specifically, when learners are enrolled to a course, and when learners start a course.

Enhancements

• Not only did we release additional webhook types, but we also completely refreshed the admin experience when creating and managing webhook subscriptions. Check out the new experience in your academy, today!
• More and more our your academy's Communications messages have been enhanced to reflect our new communications editing experience. This month, we updated the Custom Notification template and the Instructor-Led Attendance Confirmation.
• We've made it easier to manage your Course and Learner properties by introducing a Default Value. Changing this value will only affect newly created Courses/Learners while existing property values will remain unchanged.

Bug fixes

• Previously, the Learning Path cover page was not accessible for unauthenticated learners. This has been addressed, and as a result, learners can now view Learning Path cover pages without logging in to Northpass.
• For customers using the Instructor-Led Training attendance confirmation email, the button in the email contained an incorrect link. We've since resolved this issue, and learners are now appropriately redirected to the attendance confirmation page in your academy.
• In the footer of some emails, customers were able to see the "Powered By Northpass" branding, even when they explicitly configured the option to hide this. This has been addressed.
